Time schedule
The baseline study for LSN took place during January - December 1992, and part of the LSN data are considered as baseline material for LASA. The LASA baseline was carried out separately from September 1992 - September 1993, an average of 11 months following the LSN baseline. In 1995-1996, 1998-1999, and 2001-2002 almost identical follow-up data collections were conducted. The data collection among the new cohort has been completed in 2003. A data collection among all 1908-1947 birth cohorts was conducted in 2005-2006. In a limited number of
side studies of specific subsamples, topics are studied for which additional data collection is needed with more frequent intervals. The sixth wave has taken place in 2008-2009.
